National Centre “Russia” (NCR)

Project Description

The model of the National Centre “Russia” offers a first look into the future of one of Moscow’s landmark spaces. It was created for presentations at the highest level — for the country’s leadership — and at the same time is addressed to every city resident. We aimed to convey the openness and scale of the new center, where architectural form comes alive in light and motion, inviting people to become part of the country’s larger story of development.

Equipment

A smooth mechanized system that opens up the building’s interior space, along with programmable roof lighting. The facades and roof shift through light scenarios, emphasizing the architectural form at any time of day.
